Welcome to High Hopes

I figure this is the best way to welcome you to High Hopes.
Most of you already know me from "The Southpaw."
Don't fret. The Southpaw isn't going away. In fact, it's going to get stronger. More on that later.
This blog is about my new son and baseball; how I can learn lessons about fatherhood from the game; and the lessons I want to pass on to Michael.
You're probably not going to see much statistical analysis at High Hopes. This blog is more about emotions and the future.
